Hello everyone! Happy November to you in your neck of the woods. Today is the last day of the combined Neck of the Woods/Project 365 posts, and I’ve got to say that I’ll sure miss them. They kept me accountable all year and kept me posting every week, even when I was feeling too low to post any other time. My Neck of the Woods will continue, of course!
With this post comes the anniversary of this day, one year ago, that I landed in England as a resident. I was exhausted, nerve-wracked, and anxious, after I got out of passport control and knew I was here for good, the relief was astounding and wonderful. A year later and I’m fit to burst from the happiness I feel!
So, friends, here’s my lovely week in photos. As always, I hope you enjoy!
Happy UKversary to me!
Monday, October 30
I know, I know. It’s practically sinful before Halloween. But Aldi had these on sale just for this week, so I HAD to go get them!
Tuesday, October 31
Speaking of Halloween, where did I spend my day? Why, by ogling Christmas decorations, of course. And that’s really not like me, but I didn’t have anywhere Halloweeny to be!
Wednesday, November 1
The temperature’s dipped these last couple of days, so I’ve been combining things like my fuzzy fox socks with my flamingo slippers in the evenings!
Thursday, November 2
Jon was working from home, and he took his lunch break as an opportunity for us to go to Las Iguanas for lunch and then The Exchange for a hot drink!
Friday, November 3
Out with Jon, Matt (his brother), and a date for dinner and cocktails!
Saturday, November 4
Morning latte at Bru with Jon and Matt.
Sunday, November 5
2:38pm and the sun was quickly lowering into sunset. Yeesh.
Monday, November 6
To celebrate my one-year anniversary here, Jon and I went round the corner to Manhattan34 and had a few special cocktails.
