Hump Day Art – April 26

Happy Wednesday, loves! Today’s another new episode of Hump Day Art, and I have a couple new finished pieces to show you. These two works are destined to be prints where 100% of the cost goes straight to certain charities, but right now I’m unsure of how I’m going to go about doing it or how I can prove to my customers that I really am giving all the money for a good cause! So until they’re available to buy, here they are, and hopefully soon they’ll be joined by other ones (which I’m currently thinking about).

If you want to keep Mother Earth’s beauty and life, you’ve got to fight for it in whatever ways you can.  Reducing your carbon footprint and taking action to protect the environment should be something we’re all eager to fight for. Watecolour paper, Copic markers, Staedtler fineliners, and a white Sakura Gelly Roll pen.

The flowers are all meaningful and are full of the raw fire of today’s society who are fighting against hate. Yellow carnations for disdain and striped carnations for refusal (both of hateful ideals), peony for indignation, gladiolus for strength of character, blue iris for hope, yellow iris for passion, and finally, king protea for change, diversity, and courage. Watercolour paper with Copic markers and Sakura fineliners.

I hope you all enjoyed these! What’s fresh from your pencil lately?
