Hi y’all! It’s time for some dang ART today! I’ve been feeling a bit more inspired lately, perhaps because there are tell-tale signs that winter is ending and beautiful springtime is rapidly approaching! I recently put in another order with Cult Pens (it’s been a while!) and in the tradition of my dear Liat and Alora, I wanted to do a test picture with the new Copic markers I received.
From left, the colours are: E95 (Tea Orange), YR27 (Tuscan Orange), E18 (Copper), R59 (Cardinal), RV69 (Peony), and B00 (Frost Blue). Including B00 is a bit of a cheat, as it was the second Copic marker I’d ever purchased, but I needed to get a refill in this order so I thought I’d refill the marker and test out its newfound fullness.
Unfortunately, it got a bit of RV69 on it for this test, which makes it a rather nice lavender. Ha.
Anyway, then I sketched out a random lady with a pencil, then finalized the lines with a brown Derwent pencil.
Then it was time to use the new colours!
I finished things off with my white Sakura Gelly Roll and a correction pen.
In conclusion, the new colours are pretty great! I’m already devising more art featuring them, especially YR27 and E18!
