Crafty Corner – Magazine Makes

Hello all! Happy Tuesday, wherever you are in the world! Today I’m showing you the latest creations I’ve crafted up from combining my slowly growing box of materials and my little collection of craft magazines!

The craft magazines I purchased last year always came with free little crafts to make. They’d been sitting here for ages with me procrastinating, with the exception of the crochet dreamcatcher, which I made as soon as I’d picked up the magazine. But I finally sat down and made all but one of them, which isn’t shown in these photos!

I added some sparkly white yarn to the dreamcatcher to fill it out a bit and give it more shine.

Love these cute little bracelets! I overestimated the size of my wrist and made the pink one bigger than the pattern suggested, so it’s a tad big. The subsequent bracelets fit far better!

I’m going to put this wee brooch on a scarf, I think 🙂

This sweet little hen was sewn up while I marathoned The Crown a couple weeks ago. I forgot to include its little hanger, but it could just rest against something when I display it. I’m going to have it in my future kitchen and I might have the colour scheme follow it! I’m finding lots of red, light blue, and cream kitchen items these days.

This was the first embroidery project I’d ever done. It took me ages and absolutely maddened me the whole way through 😛

And this one isn’t done yet, but almost! 🙂

What have you been creating lately?

Oh these are just fab! I love my crafts! I actually made two dreamcatchers last weekend with my twins using embroidery hoops and wool! Thanks for joining in with That Friday Linky #ThatFriday Linky
